This policy explains what Etoolzy collects when you use http://etoolzy.com, why, and what choices you have. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past — if anything here is unclear, email contact@etoolzy.com and we will explain it.

1. The short version

2. Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, payment details or any government identifier, because nothing on this site asks for them. The only exception is the contact form: if you choose to write to us, you send us your name, your email address and your message so that we can reply.

3. Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, our server and our analytics provider record standard technical information when a page is requested:

This tells us which tools people find useful and where the site is slow. It is not used to identify you personally, and we do not attempt to link it to a real-world identity.

4. Cookies

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. Etoolzy and the services we use set them for three purposes:

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The tools will keep working — only your saved preferences and the relevance of the ads will change.

5. Google AdSense and advertising

This site is supported by advertising, which is what keeps every tool free to use.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google will ask for your consent before using cookies for personalised advertising, and you can change that choice at any time through the consent prompt.

6. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are used and how people arrive at the site. It processes the technical information listed in section 3. You can prevent it entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

7. Other third parties

ServiceWhat it does here
Google AdSenseServes the advertising that funds the site
Google AnalyticsAnonymous traffic statistics
Google FontsLoads the typefaces the site is set in
Our web hostStores the site's files and keeps standard server access logs

Each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with the data it receives.

8. Data you enter into the tools

This is worth repeating on its own. Text pasted into the Krutidev converter, a date of birth in the age calculator, marks in a rank predictor, a password generated here, the contents of a QR code — all of it is processed by JavaScript inside your browser. None of it reaches our servers, so there is nothing for us to store, sell, leak or hand over. Disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded and the tools still work.

9. Children

Etoolzy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.

10. Your rights

If you are in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to access, correct and erase personal data held about you, and to complain to the Data Protection Board.

If you are in the EEA or UK, the GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent for cookies at any time.

If you are in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information is collected and to ask that it be deleted. We do not sell personal information.

Because we hold no accounts and no database of visitors, there is usually nothing personal for us to retrieve or delete — but write to contact@etoolzy.com and we will act on any request within 30 days.

11. Data retention and security

Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to answer them. Server logs are rotated by our host on its own schedule. The site is served over HTTPS, and the admin area is protected by a hashed password, rate-limited sign-in and CSRF protection. No site can promise perfect security, but there is very little here worth stealing, which is by design.

12. Links to other sites

Our pages and our ads link to sites we do not control. Once you follow such a link, this policy no longer applies, and we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices you find there.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes or the law does. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted on this page.

14. Contact

Questions about this policy, or a request about your data: contact@etoolzy.com.
